Most of the mail we get falls into three baskets: a figure on the site that someone wants explained or challenged, a question about whether one of our guides covers a particular market or topic, and a buyer at the early stages who wants to know which essays to read first. All three are welcome. The challenges are especially welcome — a pointed question about a €/m² figure has sharpened more than one page on this site.

A word about what we can't do. We're researchers, not brokers, so we can't recommend a specific apartment, act for you in a negotiation, or tell you what your tax return should say. If your question needs a licensed professional working for you — and some do — we'll say so plainly and point you toward the right kind of advisor rather than pretend otherwise.

But if it's a question about the data, the method, the markets we cover, or the guides, this form reaches the right desk. Elena handles anything touching cross-border tax in general terms, Hans takes the market questions, and David fields the dataset and map queries. The budget and interest fields are optional context — they help us route your note, nothing more.
